The mission of the Rapoport Academy Career & Technical Education Department is to empower every student with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to identify, pursue, and achieve meaningful postsecondary goals. Through intentional learning opportunities, career exploration, and personalized guidance, we prepare students for success in college, the workforce, military service, and lifelong learning.

Vision

Rapoport Academy envisions a school system where every student is equipped with the resources, support, and experiences needed to confidently navigate their postsecondary pathway. Through individualized instruction, authentic learning experiences, and strategic partnerships, we foster informed decision-making and inspire students to achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Our Values

• Expand and strengthen partnerships with business, industry, higher education, and community organizations to enhance student opportunities.
• Ensure equitable access to rigorous academic and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs for all students.
• Introduce and reinforce the College, Career, and Military Readiness mission and vision beginning in the elementary grades to build early awareness and aspiration.
• Provide authentic, work-based learning experiences through internships, practicums, apprenticeships, and career exploration opportunities.
• Develop systematic processes to support and monitor students throughout the postsecondary planning and application process.
• Align students' aptitudes, interests, career goals, and postsecondary aspirations with meaningful internship and practicum opportunities that promote career readiness.
