Meyer HS Receives $500 Carter BloodCare Grant + Upcoming Drive on September 9

Meyer High School Receives $500 Carter BloodCare Grant

Meyer High School has been awarded a $500 Impact Grant from Carter BloodCare in recognition of its successful blood drives last school year. A huge thank you to Mrs. Pack for organizing these life-saving events and to every student and staff member who donated!

Upcoming Blood Drive

The first blood drive of the year will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. behind the Gomez building.
What You Need to Know Before You Donate:
  • Donors must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 lbs.
  • 16-year-old donors require a parental consent form, which can be picked up from Mrs. Pack.
  • Donors must present a valid ID (school ID, Texas ID, or driver's license).
  • It is important to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water before donating.

Seniors: Earn Your Honor Cord!
Seniors who donate blood at least two times this school year will receive a red honor cord to wear at graduation.
