Rapoport Academy campuses and offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth National Independence Day commemorates the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, announcing the end of the Civil War and the emancipation of enslaved people—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This significant day marks the true liberation for all enslaved Americans and serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing journey toward equality and justice.
We encourage our community to reflect on Juneteenth's historical significance and its enduring message of freedom and perseverance.
Summer office hours will resume on Monday, June 23. Campuses will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
