Congratulations to our Quinn Middle School Teacher of the Year: Jocelyn Molina-Mancio.
Ms. Mancio is a 5th-Grade Science Teacher at Quinn Middle School. This is her 3rd year at RAPS.

What others say about Ms. Mancio:
💚 Ms. Mancio helps her students be excited about science because of all the cool activities and projects she sets up for them. She is patient and caring, and the kids know they can count on her to be in their corner.

🖤 She works so hard to foster curiosity and excitement for learning in her students. I'm consistently impressed with Ms. Mancio!

Congratulations to our Meyer High School Teacher of the Year: Fernanda Ainsworth
Mrs. Ainsworth is an Engineering Teacher at Meyer High School. This is her 7th year at RAPS.

What others say about Mrs. Ainsworth:
💚 She is so creative and helps her students think and solve problems creatively. I think she can be overlooked because she doesn't draw attention to all the amazing things happening in her engineering lab, and we need to change that. She makes our engineering pathway so strong and is truly shaping the future because so many of our students truly want to pursue engineering in secondary education, thanks to her influence. That alone is HUGE!

🖤 Mrs. Ainsworth consistently challenges her students through activities what are both instructive and interactive. Her uncompromising approach in the classroom and her firm but fair interaction with the students promotes integrity- she is a living metaphor for the core values, and is an important part of our team.

💚  Fernanda holds her students accountable every day. She shows up every day, works hard, and finds ways to make learning happen in different ways. She upholds all our core values. She is a great asset to the 9th and 10th grade level team, and comes to our meetings solution-oriented rather than with negativity.

🖤 She engages students in their work and is supportive even if mistakes are made.

Mrs. Ainsworth accepts the Teacher of the Year award.
