New Staff Welcome: Theresa Campenni, 2nd Grade ELAR

Theresa Campenni is joining the Rapoport Academy Elementary team as a 2nd Grade ELAR Teacher.

Mrs. Campenni has taught predominately 2nd grade since 2006. More recently, she taught 1st grade at Waco Charter School. As a young parent, she realized that she loved working with her own kids as they learned new things. She volunteered as a “class mom” during their first years of school and loved it! These same educators supported and encouraged her as she started her educational path and they continue to be close to this day.

Mrs. Campenni attended McLennan Community College and finished at the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies Education, Summa Cum Laude.

Her husband, Mike Campenni, is her biggest supporter. He is an award-winning tenured professor at McLennan Community College. They have two grown sons, a toddler grandson, a grandcat, and four rescue dogs. Her happiest times are being together as a family.

Mrs. Campenni truly believes that being a teacher is her purpose in life and she chooses to do that to the best of her ability each day. She looks forward to joining Rapoport Academy for the upcoming school year and working with her new school family. Go RAVENS!
